Our team crafted this animation for the launch of Colgate’s latest line of toothbrushes featuring replaceable heads. Inspired by the concept of an everlasting toothbrush, we explored the repetition of the interchangeable heads, creating captivating patterns and dynamic lines. This work was made in partnership with Red Fuse agency.
THE PRODUCTION
One of the most interesting aspects of this production for our team of designers was developing the kinetic fonts that interact with the toothbrushes. Their dynamic movements were designed to enhance the sense of rhythm and movement, which was essential to the film, performing almost a choreographed dance with the toothbrushes while highlighting their qualities.
Our team developed a series of possible movements for the texts, and we ultimately chose the ones that were most suited to the video's context. Here are some of the options created by our team.
This is the animatic that received approval before we proceeded with the shading process. Below, you can view our early render tests. Fortunately, the client was very pleased, and the final look closely resembled these initial visuals.
